FARMERS BROKERAGE & SUPPLY:
Believe it or not, from the start of the business in 1975 until now, not much has really changed here at Farmers Brokerage & Supply.
FB&S has always been dedicated to helping the Farmers in our area succeed, and over time, the business officially became a Subsidiary of the NJ Farm Bureau. Backed by the largest advocate for Agriculture in New Jersey, FB&S continued to strive to support the industry in any way possible.
We have always tried to stock as many products as possible that local Farmers would need to have a successful, and prosperous season, however, in more recent years, we have increased our inventory quite extensively. We now offer more farm seed than ever before, more crop protection products, greenhouse supplies including plug trays and flats, and Pro-Mix, and vegetable grower supplies like Drip Tape, fittings, and Plastic Mulch. We also expanded to carry Landscape Supplies for our local Landscapers, and some Lawn & Garden items for the local Homeowners.
If we do not currently stock a product, we aim to order that product in for you as quickly (and cheaply) as possible.
EH TINDALL:
Located in Allentown, NJ at what was previously Mid-State Seed, FB&S was equipped with enough warehouses, and grain bins, to also adopt E.H Tindall as part of the business.
EH Tindall still exists today, working with local farmers who grow a specific variety of High Quality, High Protein Soybeans. High Protein Soybeans are grown by local farmers, and then sold to EH Tindall, where we then store, clean, and bag the beans right here at our facility. Bagged beans are then sold throughout NJ, PA, NY, and more for the Tofu Market.
This specialized business has been a unique part of Farmers Brokerage for decades now, and we are proud to still be working with our local farmers in their yearly Soybean Production today.
